We accept private referrals as well as referrals from organisations (e.g. solicitors, insurers, schools, employers). All enquiries are treated with the utmost confidentiality.

What do we help with?
The Purple House Clinic provides individualised, easy to access, psychological services at the time people need help the most. We work with both adults and children, helping a range of mental health difficulties including depression, anxiety, phobias, PTSD, complex trauma and personality issues. We can also help with physical health difficulties including adjustment to acute, chronic and life limiting illness, pain management, trauma related to ill health or treatment and birth trauma along with psychosexual issues including sexual pain disorders and erectile dysfunction. We also provide a number of specialist assessment services including assessments for ASD and ADHD.

The Clinical Director of our Nottingham clinic is Clinical Psychologist, Dr Elizabeth Lee who is supported closely by our Management Team and Administrators. Expertise and Experience
Dr Lee is a Registered Clinical Psychologist and a Chartered Psychologist. She is experienced in working with clients of all ages – adults, children and adolescents.
Dr Lee provides assessment and therapeutic intervention for a range of common psychological issues including: depression, anxiety, phobias, obsessive/compulsive problems, trauma, child behavioural problems, children and parents struggling with issues around death and dying, loss, trauma, anxiety and adjustment to chronic and life-limiting physical health conditions.
Further to qualification in 2006, Dr Lee has worked in a range of settings, both in the NHS and privately. She has a specialist interest in trauma and neuropsychological rehabilitation and has post-qualification training in Clinical Neuropsychology and Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR).
Qualifications
2015-2016 – EMDR, Parts 1, 2, and 3, Richman EMDR Training.
2009 – Diploma in Paediatric Clinical Neuropsychology, University College London.
2006 – Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (D.Clin.Psy.), University of Glasgow.
2001 – Bachelor of Science in Psychology (BSc. Hons.), University of Warwick.

Positioned conveniently in the city centre, the Clinic is well served by nearby car parking options and is a short walk from both the train, bus and tram stations. On-street parking is located outside the Clinic on Regent Street while the nearest NCP is situated on Mount Street.
