About Purple House
At the Purple House Clinic, we understand that psychological health is as important as physical health. Many people are affected by difficulties and challenges in psychological/mental health including depression, anxiety, trauma, adjustments to life events, learning difficulties and developmental disorders. We believe that everybody deserves to be happy and fulfilled in life, and we are committed to helping people overcome, or adapt to, life’s challenges.
The Purple House Clinic provides individualised, easy to access, psychological services at the time people need help the most. Positive change for clients is facilitated through the provision of structured assessments, evidence-based therapies, family support services and consultancy. We see people of all ages, working with individuals, couples, families, groups, professionals and organisations.
Our teams comprise of Clinical Psychologists, Forensic Psychologists, Educational Psychologists, Psychiatrists, Occupational Therapists and Mental Health Nurses. All of our clinicians have undergone rigorous training and are regulated by the statutory professional body relevant to each type of professional. Our clinicians are experts in their field and take a structured and scientific approach to the assessment and treatment of psychological conditions. Our exceptional standards mean that our clients will only ever be in receipt of the highest level of care and expertise.
Why are we called Purple House?
Purple is known as a calming colour which is thought to represent good judgement, fulfilment and peace of mind. Consequently, purple is often associated with therapeutic work.
A person’s house (or home) should be a place of sanctuary. As such, we want our clients to feel that sense of safety and security when they come to see us.
