At the Purple House Clinic, we have seven clinics across the UK providing both in-person and online services to their local communities. Here, at our Central Online Clinic, we are able to expand the reach to more clients, delivering high quality online services to the rest of the UK. We understand that there can be many barriers to accessing high quality mental health support. That’s why we now offer both in-person and online services right across the UK, to make it as easy and practical as possible – widening accessibility to more people.

At the Purple House Clinic we pride ourselves on having the highest levels of expertise, and we only engage fully qualified healthcare professionals. Our expert team of psychologists, therapists, and mental health specialists are passionate about providing individualised care tailored to your unique needs. Through online sessions, we support both adults and young people experiencing challenges such as anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, relationship difficulties and much more.

Our premium therapy services provide compassionate, evidence-based support for individuals facing mental health difficulties including anxiety, depression, stress, and trauma. Expertise and Experience

Dr Morris is the Clinical Director of the Purple House Clinic. She is a Registered Clinical Psychologist (HCPC) and a Chartered Psychologist (BPS). Dr Morris is experienced in working with clients of all ages - adults, children and adolescents.  She provides assessment and therapeutic intervention for a range of common psychological issues including depression, anxiety, phobias, obsessive/compulsive problems, trauma, and child behavioural problems.  She specialises in Child Psychology, Attachment, Trauma (PTSD) and working with adults with emotional/interpersonal problems linked to childhood. She is skilled in working with complex presentations including dissociative conditions. She has a Master's qualification in Applied Neuropsychology, providing her with additional skills in assessing and understanding the neuropsychological/ cognitive aspects of a person's functioning. Dr Morris utilises several therapeutic approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), Schema Therapy and Developmental Dyadic Psychotherapy. She is an accredited Schema Therapist and an accredited EMDR practitioner.

Prior to working in private practice, Dr Morris worked in the NHS for 9 years, including 4 years as a Specialist Clinical Psychologist in Child and Adolescent Mental Health.  Dr Morris’ current role as Clinical Director is varied, involving both direct clinical work and many aspects of service development and management. She also undertakes training and consultancy with external agencies and clinical supervision.

Qualifications

2009 - Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (D.Clin.Psy.), University of Lincoln.

2007 - Masters of Science in Applied Neuropsychology (MSc.), with merit, University of Nottingham.

2002 - Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Psychology (BSc. Hons.), first class, University of Essex.
