Transform Pupil Wellbeing with the Purple House Clinic
In today’s complex educational environment, primary and secondary schools face numerous challenges:
- Rising mental health and emotional issues among students.
- The urgent need for timely and accurate neurodiversity assessments to secure vital educational support and formal planning (such as EHCPs in England/Wales or Additional Support for Learning (ASL) provisions in Scotland).
- Limited resources for pastoral teams, SENDCos, and Support for Learning Leaders trying to provide comprehensive, everyday care.
We understand these challenges and are here to help.
Our Services
Our comprehensive suite of clinical services is designed to alleviate pressure on school staff while meeting the diverse needs of your students, parents, and SENDCos:
Mental Health / Therapy Services
Specialist mental health assessments and evidence-based therapy sessions to support students with a wide range of difficulties—including depression, anxiety, trauma, eating difficulties, phobias, poor self-esteem, and challenges with emotional or behavioural regulation.
Neurodiversity Assessments
In-depth diagnostic evaluations for Autism, ADHD, sensory difficulties, dyslexia, dyscalculia, and Developmental Coordination Disorder (DCD / Dyspraxia). These provide the robust clinical evidence required to inform formal school support plans, such as EHCP applications or Scottish ASL / Co-ordinated Support Plans (CSPs).
Training & Workshops
Professional development workshops to equip teachers, support staff, and parents with the practical skills needed to support neurodiverse children and those experiencing mental health challenges.
Consultancy Services
Expert advice and tailored support to help leadership teams, SENDCos, and ASL/ASN Coordinators develop and implement highly effective, compliant mental health and neurodiversity policies across the school.
Partner With Us in Two Key Ways
We’ve been working with UK primary and secondary schools for over a decade. There are two main ways in which schools partner with us:
1. Refer Families to Our Services
- Schools, SENDCos, and Support for Learning staff can refer parents directly to our expert services, allowing families to access the immediate help they need independently by bypassing long NHS waiting lists.
- Students receive timely, specialised support, enhancing their wellbeing, classroom engagement, and academic performance.
2. School-Funded Programs
- Schools can utilise their own budgets to fund specific assessments, staff training workshops, or therapeutic interventions directly.
- This ensures targeted, immediate support for high-priority pupils, improving the overall school environment and student outcomes.
Benefits of Partnering with Us
- Enhanced Pupil Support: Improved mental health, better school attendance, and boosted academic performance through targeted clinical interventions.
- Resource Efficiency: Free up valuable time for SENDCos, ASL/ASN leads, and pastoral teams by leveraging our external, specialised expertise.
- Professional Development: Empower teaching and support staff with the clinical knowledge and skills to confidently support all students.
- Community Engagement: Strengthen parent-school collaboration through specialist workshops and shared development goals.
- Tailored Solutions: Receive customised support and consultancy that directly addresses your unique school environment.
