Main Therapeutic Approaches

Dr Nadany usually works with more than one member of a family. The reason for this is that when one person in a family has a problem, it often affects not just them, but others in the family too. Sometimes families worry about being blamed for problems, but Dr Nadany builds on the strengths within the family and jointly works with families to find a way forwards. She works with families to resolve conflict and enable family members to express and explore difficult thoughts and emotions
safely, to understand each other’s experiences and views, appreciate each other’s needs and make useful changes in their relationships and their lives.
‘Family’ can be anyone who is important and does not have to be a blood relative.
