Dr Grey is the Clinical Director of the Purple House Clinic in Birmingham. Dr Grey is a Clinical Psychologist and registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). She has experience of working in the NHS, forensic services and private practice, providing evidence-based therapy across a range of mental health difficulties including depression, anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder and trauma. Dr Grey is experienced in working with clients of all ages, children, adolescents and adults. Dr Grey uses several therapeutic approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT), Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) and systemic approaches.

As a family therapist, Abi is skilled in supporting families to work though problems which impact them, whether that be an acute crisis or longer term problems.

Katy has a particular passion and expertise within the area of Ayres Sensory Integration and completed her postgraduate training with Ulster University becoming an Advanced Sensory Integration Practitioner in 2019. Katy has a vast range of experience in completing specialist sensory assessments and treating young people and adults using the skills she has acquired over her career. Katy is able to support clients to better understand their sensory processing needs and provide realistic and effective treatment strategies to minimise the impact of sensory processing difficulties on their everyday life.

Emma specialises in the field of Autism and Neurodevelopmental difficulties/differences from assessment and diagnosis to support for children and adults. Emma has extensive experience of working with autistic women and girls and is skilled to understand and explore the more subtle and less obvious features.

    Emma can provide assessments for children and young people who have been adopted and/or have experienced developmental trauma and difficult life experiences where
    neurodivergence has been suggested. Emma has many years of experience in the assessment, diagnosis and support of children who have Autism with a PDA profile.

    Dr Emily Mason is a dual qualified psychologist, registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) as both a Clinical and Forensic Psychologist. As a dual qualified psychologist, Emily has a broad range of knowledge, skills and experience, across different contexts and across the lifespan.

    Emily is experienced in working with clients of all ages – children, adolescents, adults and older adults. She has worked for many years within the NHS across inpatient and community services. Emily has also worked within private healthcare, charity organisations, the Criminal Justice System and specialist services for those who are neurodiverse.

    Emily works with a range of psychological, emotional and relational difficulties. These may include anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, interpersonal difficulties, behaviours of concern including risk and/or offending behaviour, and trauma. She has a collaborative approach and works integratively, drawing upon several therapeutic models. She is able to adapt her approach, to fit with clients’ individual needs.

    Sarah is trained in the ADI-R (Autism Diagnostic Interview – Revised) and experienced in delivering comprehensive ADHD and Autism(ASD) assessments across all ages, which means she is dual-qualified as an assessor.

    Her therapeutic approach is integrative and evidence-based. She draws on models such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), and systemic approaches. This allows her to tailor therapy to each individual, helping people to better understand themselves, build on their strengths, and make meaningful changes that align with their values.

    Sarah believes therapy should be a safe and supportive space. Her approach is compassionate, collaborative, culturally informed, and neuroaffirmative. She works hard to ensure clients feel heard, respected, and empowered throughout the sessions.
