Dr Grey is the Clinical Director of the Purple House Clinic in Birmingham. Dr Grey is a Clinical Psychologist and registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). She has experience of working in the NHS, forensic services and private practice, providing evidence-based therapy across a range of mental health difficulties including depression, anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder and trauma. Dr Grey is experienced in working with clients of all ages, children, adolescents and adults. Dr Grey uses several therapeutic approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT), Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) and systemic approaches.

Natalie has been working in healthcare since 2013, accumulating experience in various settings such as child and adolescent mental health, adult mental health, learning disability services, and physical health. Alongside her Associate Role at the Purple House Clinic, Natalie currently works in the NHS with Children, Adolescents, and Young Adults.
Natalie fosters a collaborative environment, working with you to develop a comprehensive understanding of your difficulties and identifying factors contributing to these challenges. Tailoring her interventions to your unique needs, Natalie employs an integrative approach, drawing from various models including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR). Additionally, Natalie provides parental support and interventions aimed at equipping parents with the necessary tools and strategies to effectively support their child through their difficulties.

More recently, Abi has worked with a wide range of presenting mental health difficulties in private practice. As a family therapist, Abi is skilled in supporting families to work though problems which impact them, whether that be an acute crisis or longer term problems.

Dr Lauren Calder-Hanley is a Registered Clinical Psychologist with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and an Associate Clinician at the Purple House Clinic. She has been employed in NHS since 2013 and has experience working with children, adolescents and adults, including working with individuals with learning difficulties, learning disabilities and/or autism.
Lauren can help you with a range of emotional well-being and mental health difficulties, such as anxiety, depression, OCD, relationship difficulties, and low self-esteem/confidence. Lauren also specialises in antenatal and postnatal mental health difficulties, and can support you with birth planning, particularly if you have experienced previous abuse or birth trauma. She will work with you to develop a shared understanding of your difficulties, including considering the impact of life experiences, relationships, and society on maintaining these difficulties. She will provide a tailored approach, drawing on a range of evidence-based psychological therapies including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Compassion Focussed Therapy (CFT), Attachment informed approaches, and Systemic approaches. In addition to therapy, Lauren is also experienced in completing assessments of cognitive and adaptive functioning, which can contribute towards neurodevelopmental assessments. Lauren will work in partnership with you to help work towards your goals.
Alongside her role at the Purple House Clinic, Lauren has worked in a NHS Community Perinatal Mental Health Team in Birmingham since 2021, where she specialises in maternal mental health and the parent-infant relationship. Prior to this, she held roles in Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services, and Child and Adult Learning Disability Services.

Dr Bill Morgan is an experienced HCPC registered Clinical Psychologist. He has worked in a range of mental health settings including substance abuse, women’s services, early intervention in psychosis and community mental health teams (CMHTs). He has also worked in higher education and the charity sector, where he gained additional experience in supporting teams with reflective practice, consultation, supervision and training.
Alongside his role at the Purple House clinic, Bill currently shares his time as Lead Psychologist in a regional physical health service and a local Community Mental Health Team.
