Outcomes and Feedback

Client Satisfaction

Our client satisfaction questionnaires show that 90% of our clients are extremely satisfied with our services and would recommend them to a friend (Sept. 2015). Comments on our satisfaction questionnaires  include:

"The Psychologist was amazing. I felt safe with her from the very first session. She was supportive and professional and with her help I have been able to begin the journey back to truly living my life. She has changed my life in a very real way and I'm so proud of myself for making it as far as I did with her help. Thank you!"

"Excellent service, wasn't sure what to expect but for my son it has been life changing, many, many thanks."

"We really enjoyed working with the Psychologist and as a consequence, my son is much happier and more positive. He has coping strategies and we feel very hopeful."

"Just very grateful - thank you xx"

Therapy Outcomes

We routinely measure outcomes from therapy in order to measure the progress of clients. Different measures are used depending on the client's individual difficulties and on the clinician's preference.

Dr Morris, the Clinical Director, uses the Outcomes Rating Scale (ORS) with her clients. This measures key dimensions of a person's life which are known to be affected by therapeutic interventions: personal/symptomatic distress, interpersonal well-being and social well-being. The outcomes are compared to a large (international) normative data set.

The statistics on this data indicate that Dr Morris' work has a highly positive effect on clients' outcomes (effect size 0.82), with 77 percent of her clients achieving ORS scores of over 25/40 by discharge (Sept. 2015). This is in excess of the average therapist's ratings using the ORS internationally.

Feedback from Training

We collate feedback from all of our training and teaching. Detailed below is some feedback from a recent staff training day on Attachment held at an inpatient unit for adolescents:

  • On average, the staff gave a rating of 9.6 (out of 10) when asked how they rated the training overall.
  • On average, the staff gave a rating of 9.7 (out of 10) when asked how relevant the training was for their practice.
